The administrative section of the Monroe Police Department is the main point of public contact for information and clerical services. The Administrative Service section is currently staffed by two civilian employees and is open for business from 8 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS UNIT
The Monroe Police Department Special Operations Unit is commanded by Lieutenant Anthony Harris (aharris@monroega.gov) and falls under the Administrative Services Division.
The Special Operations Division is comprised of several constituent units.

TRAINING
THE MONROE POLICE DEPARTMENT TRAINING STAFF CONSISTS OF SEVEN SWORN LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
THESE OFFICERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF OUR AGENCY.
MONROE POLICE OFFICERS DO NOT TRAIN TO MEET THE STANDARD; THEY TRAIN TO EXCEED THE STANDARDS.
OUTSIDE OF OFFSITE TRAINING, THE MONROE POLICE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES FORTY (40) HOURS OF IN-SERVICE TRAINING TO DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEES.
